Tony
and Debra Doshak started TONY The Mover in 1995 to
provide Summit County and the surrounding area with reliable,
ethical, above-the-table moving services at a reasonable
price.
Tony is President and Operations Manager with nearly 30
years experience in the shipping and materials handling
business. Debra is Treasurer and General Manager, has over
20 years of business management experience, and is a full-time
Realtor.
Both Tony and Debra were born and raised in the Akron area
and now live in Stow; Tony's from "North Hill"
and Debra's from Cuyahoga Falls.
TONY The Mover is owned and operated by Tony and
Debra. It is not a franchise and does not answer to a corporate
entity. The money you pay TONY The Mover stays in
the area.
TONY The Mover is a member of the National Federation
of Independent Businesses.

We
are committed to outstanding customer care. We strive to make
sure customers have a positive experience, from the very first
time we answer the phone to the truck pulling away from their
new home. Because of our personal attention to the needs of
our customers, and our competitive pricing, we are recommended
by many area Realtors. In fact, most of our new business comes
from customer and realtor referrals.
We control our overhead expenses so we can continue to offer
very competitive prices. We don't pay rent for an office or
a storefront. We don't have a full-time office staff.
We
train our employees well and treat them well in order to minimize
turnover. We have a very low turnover rate for our industry.
Tony
is a "hands-on" owner. Besides managing the work and providing
price estimates, he spends over half his time working on crews
or visiting job sites while moves are in progress.
We enjoy making customers happy. We
personally contact every customer, so we have a firsthand
understanding of their needs and make sure they feel comfortable
telling us about any concerns. We take personal satisfaction
in knowing that we make our customer's moving day as stress-free
as possible.
